We are all honoured to be shortlisted for the 'Best Voluteer Fundraiser Award' at the National Fundraising Awards 2018.

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone at The Brain Tumour Charity for kindly nominating us and for their continued support. Congratulations to them for being shortlisted for the Fundraising Charity of the Year- Large. Very well deserved.

Alfie Bears Journey Fund would not be possible without the help and support of our family, friends and every single person who has kindly supported us over the last 4 years. So we would like to send our heartfelt thanks to you all.

We set up Alfie Bears Journey in 2014 to help raise much needed awareness of Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) through sharing our Alfie's story, while raising funds for DIPG research.

We continue in memory of our precious little boy and in support of all children and families affected, in the hope that fututre children diagnosed with this devestating disease do not have to hear such a poor prognosis.

We never dreamed that we would be shortlisted for a National Award alongside so many amazing charities.

Alfie's fighting spirit and the way he smiled everyday despite his diagnosis, inspires us to carry on his fight. We hope we are making our Alfie Bear proud and continue to do so, in his memory.
