We have listed some amazing charities that gave a lot of help & support to both Alfie and us as a family. We hope that this list may go on to help another family.
We have also included some useful resources and clinical trials for families affected by DIPG.

Chelsea's Angels provide gifts to children diagnosed with Neuroblastoma and other rare Cancers. They also offer support to families and siblings. - Child Bereavement UK
Child Bereavement UK supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement. Every year we train more than 8000 professionals, helping them to better understand and meet the needs of grieving families. - CLIC Sargent
CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families. They provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help cope with cancer. Macmillan are there to help and support those affected by Cancer. They can help you find answers to questions about treatment and its effects. They can also advise on financial issues, and they are always there for emotional support when things get tough. - Make-A-Wish
Make-A-Wish grant magical wishes to children and young people fighting life threatening conditions. - NC TLC Trust
NC TLC Trust is a Northampton based children cancer charity dedicated to supporting families living with Tumours, Leukaemia and other cancers. We provide practical and emotional support from the point of diagnosis. - Ronald McDonald House Charities
Ronald McDonald House Charities provides free 'home away from home' accommodation to families while their child is in hospital. - The Brain Tumour Charity

The C* Word project is funded by Macmillan. It is a truly innovative service which aims to support all teenagers and young people aged 13 to 24 affected by Cancer, whether it is through their own diagnosis or that of a close family member or friend. - The Henry Allen Trust
The Henry Allen Trust provide treats and wishes to create special memories for families affected by childhood Cancer. They also offer support and advice to the families, and work on improving processes for oncology services within hospitals. - Thomas Fund
Thomas's Fund provide music therapy in Northampton for children and young people with life limiting illnesses or a disability which, for medical reasons means they are too ill to attend school for extended periods.
