The Wheatsheaf Pub Summer Festival 2017
Posted on
We all thoroughly enjoyed the Summer Festival at The Wheatsheaf Pub this afternoon.
Despite warnings of rain, the weather stayed fine and it was a fantastic day raising funds for our Alfie Bear's Journey Fund.
It was lovely to catch up with the Mayor & Mayoress on the day.
The Summer Festival included live music, a BBQ, Real Ale, Prosecco Van, Raffle and lots of beautiful craft stalls and characters.
As well as face-painting, balloons and a bouncy castle for the children.
Our Ryan also enjoyed making some sand art using the charity colours.
We ran a tombola and bottle stall and got chance to speak to new people about our Alfie and the charity and explain what DIPG is.
It's always great to talk to new people and help spread more awareness.
Huge thank you to Victoria, Sam and everyone at The Wheatsheaf for putting on such a fantastic day and choosing to support Alfie Bear's Journey Fund, we really appreciate their continued support.
Big thank you to everyone who attended and helped them raise an amazing £605.32 for Alfie Bear's Journey Fund ♥
Thank you to my Dad, Val and Anne who came along to help us on the day.
