Alfie Bear's Picnic 2017
Posted on
Myself and Danny, and our fellow picnic organiser Val would like to say thank you to everyone who came and supported Alfie Bear's Picnic this year.
The day started off with plenty of sunshine and a beautiful unveiling of our Alfie's memorial bench, with a few words from both the Mayor and Cllr. Brian Oldham.
Unfortunately by 3pm, the rain came down and we made the decision to close the picnic early.
We are so pleased to hear all the positive feedback about the day despite the weather, and glad that everyone enjoyed themselves.
As always, we are overwhelmed by the support from our community and would like to thank you all for supporting the day and helping raise an incredible £2,016.46 for Alfie Bear's Journey Fund!
