Christmas Jumpers Day 2017
It is nearly time to dig out those Christmas jumpers again and join us for Christmas Jumper day for Alfie 2017.
We invite you to wear a Christmas Jumper on Friday the 15th December and ask that you kindly consider donating a minimum of £1 on the day to support DIPG, Children's Brain Cancer Research.
Our Alfie was just 5 yrs old when he was diagnosed with a childhood brain tumour called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). Alfie sadly passed away in June 2014 after a brave 11 month battle with the disease.
- DIPG is inoperable and has a 0% survival rate.
- Every 9 days, another child will be diagnosed with DIPG in the UK.
Christmas Jumpers Day is a great event for Schools and workplaces. To make it more fun, you could even have a best jumper competition.
Please contact us, if you require a copy of our poster or other materials.
All proceeds from our Christmas Jumpers Day will go to Alfie Bear's Journey Fund - The Brain Tumour Charity to support DIPG Research.
You can donate your £1 via our Christmas just giving page here:
or by Texting: DOVE72 + £ to 70070
If you are taking a 'Selfie 4 Alfie' while wearing your Christmas Jumpers, then please feel free to share it on our Facebook page and we will add it to our annual Christmas Jumpers album.
More children are losing their lives to Brain Cancer than any other Cancer here in the UK, yet Childhood Brain Tumour Research remains extremely underfunded!
Thank you for helping us to make a difference this Christmas ♥
